Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. Detailed responses will only be accepted (feel free to reapply with more detail if at first not approved as a member). We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: I'm Luke, a 30-something body modification artist from the north of England.

I've been vegan for just over a year after being a dedicated meat-eating ignoramus for many, many years. I will never go back, this I know.

Now I'm trying to get fit, truly fit as I've never been before. I started going to the gym at the same time as my choice to go vegan. Although I do enjoy working out, the gym was never a place I really felt comfortable with. Now I mostly workout from home. I'm currently in month 2 of Insanity, as well as partaking in a spot of amateur yoga and some light jogging.

My girlfriend has been the biggest positive influence in my life. She was the one that urged me to try veganism after she made the decision to live cruelty-free. She stopped smoking, so I did the same. Now we are both approaching 6-months sober too. All this in the past 14 months. All super-positive changes, I think you'll agree :)

My girlfriend stumbled across one of Freelea's videos on Youtube which links through to 30BaD. Then we both started to do some research on the 80/10/10 diet too. I recently signed up for the cron-o-meter to track my current eating habits and even after 2 days of inputting the data, I'm shocked to see what I'm falling short on and where I'm going over.
I look forward to seeing my body change as I make the switch to full-time LF/HCRV

Reading "The 80-10-10 Diet" by Dr Doug Graham is vital for succeeding on this lifestyle. Please acquire this book as soon as possible.: I will read the book

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....: I'm more of a movie guy than book guy. My most favourite films are the Star Wars Saga, Alien/Predator Saga and I'm very much into all the latest spate of superhero films too.

We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?: As cliche as it sounds, protein seems to be a slight issue for me, according to Cronometer. Also I have concerns over macronutrients and if a HCRV diet is entirely wholesome.
Also, living in Britain seems to have it's downsides as I don't have access to a vast variety of homegrown organic fruits. That and I'm pretty poor too.

30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings.
