We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: I'm a 5-year vegan turning raw vegan trying to transition, learn, grow, and enjoy life. I am married to a very supportive omnivore who is willing to try my recipes but I would love to connect with other raw vegans. After hearing about 30bad through a raw vegan video I knew that I wanted to join. I may still be stumbling through transition, but I'm loving every minute. After incorporating more raw over the last 6 months I know that this is the way that I feel my best. I'm ready for it to be my permanent lifestyle!

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....: Old literature, funny movies, and documentaries get my attention. Throw in some good music and I'm golden. I love to read cookbooks, and sitting in the yard with my husband and daughter are my favorite days. I may kill flowers in the garden, but my husband and I can grow veggies with the best of them. Genealogy and learning more about nutrition are interests, but family is my main pastime.

Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?: I'm really wanting to be strong in my skills, make sure that I'm eating a varied and balanced diet, and get a good foundation before the cold Midwest winter hits and derails me as it did last year when I attempted transition. I know that with a good foundation I can move into cooler months just fine. Any help in transition and sustaining the lifestyle is very welcome.
