Pau Casas said… Hi Leonie!
Unfortunately I don't live in Barcelona anymore - I just moved to Denmark a couple of weeks ago. I hope you can find some amazing fruit and enjoy the sights. La Boqueria in La Rambla sells some exotic fruit :)
Glow said… Thanks for accepting my request, hope things are good in Switzerland :)
Tobias said…
Groetjes ;)
Manouk Drijver said… Hoi Leonie,
Liefs Manouk
Tobias said… Hey hey, leuk je ook hier te zien :)
Lekker gesmikkeld met je mam?
Wild Light said… Hey Leonie! I have to leave a short reply today, my battery power on my laptop is running quite low. I spoke to Leo and he seems to have his own ideas on things, doesn't seem to be as chilled out as I thought he would be. So you'll have to speak to him about the final arrangements. With the visa you can get a visa on arrival, so you don't have to worry about that. I may not be here as yesterday I had a bit of a divergence of opinion on things with Leo and now I'm ostracized from going to the community. It may heal up, I hope it will as I never like leaving anywhere on a bad note, though I also buy all my food via the community and getting it elsewhere is quite hard, so I may be forced to leave before it does. Yeh I'm a person who's quite set in my viewpoint as part of my ego dissolution, some people go, some people stay. With the program what I mean is that certain people are looking to follow their spiritual path and see the money system as a hinderance to our non-separate identity, certain people are still in survival mode and are still aspiring to be financially well off. Not that they have to be contradictory, it's more of whether one is living from greed or aspiration. It would be nice to meet you if I'm still here. One gets a 3 month visa, I've been living here for a month and a half now quite happily :) Have bats and ball, thanks for asking. Lotsa love!

Wild Light said… Groete Leonie! Haha. I'm from south africa so I speak afrikaans which is similar to dutch. I can understand all the comments on your wall... Cool to hear you're doing a vipassana. I've done it twice! It's super hard core. Have you done it before? I'm currently staying on a plot next to Leo's community. I moved from Joshua's spot as I just felt like being with people on a more similar wavelength. The divide between people living in "the program" and those who aren't is quite big. Joshua's place has a lot more fruit than Leo's spot, and he's still open to pepole coming there. He does have financial pressure, so you do feel it by being in his environment, he's a nice person though and lots of people have stayed with him for periods of time quite happily. At Leo's spot it's really beautiful and it's right on the lake so you can go for lots of swims. The down side with leo's spot is that sometimes we're just living on bananas, paw paws, avos, tomatoes and ground nuts. Though there always seems to be fruit coming in from other places as well, like the guy I'm staying with his property has sour sops and sugar apples so we get those from time to time, and 6 months of the year there's an abundance of mangoes (you'll be coming in mango season :)). If I were you I'd just come and give Leo 200 euros and then let that be that, don't worry about paying 150 euros a week, I'll make sure he doesn't charge you that. Other than that all I spend while on the island is between 1-2euros a day. Bananas are 3 small bananas for 5 shillings, which is 5 euro cents. Paw paws anywhere between 10 shillings and 50 shillings. Ground nuts are 40 shillings for a bag. Avos are 10 shillings each, and tomatoes 4 for 20 shillings. Then jack fruit can be more pricey when we get hold of it. It's super chill here hey. I spend most of my days just reading, meditating, swimming and hanging out. For some people it's too chill, though for me I'm using it to get in touch with the harmonies and rhythms of nature. There's also a table tennis table. I don't know how long I'm staying for, I've given up the notion of me being a separate I or that I really know what is going on in my life. I like living this life in touch with nature a lot though and reckon I'll always do it, whether here or somewhere else. Peace and lots of love! Michael
