The most fruits offered had such a poor quality I've never seen before.
That's why we ate mainly salads and veggies here.
We cannot recommend…"

I just arrived in Costa Rica, and am pretty excited about your Durian comment. I am in the Talamanca area, having a look around, and finding it super lush, and very enjoyable. The fruit prices are a lot higher than what I am used to, and am wondering if you have any tips especially for the Puerto Viejo area. The climate, is amazing, just not finding the variety I would hope for. Is there a big farmers type market somewhere or is it just the usual shops and vendors???
