My journey started 5 years ago. I saw a documentary called Fast Food Nation and I immediately cut out fast food. Then I took a speech class and did a research speech on food additives, so I cut processed food out. Shortly after that I went pescetarian and stayed this way 2.5 years before becoming vegetarian for a year, followed by the switch to vegan 1 year ago... all driven by more research. Along the way I battled an eating disorder, which I recovered from by going raw vegan for one summer. I had never felt nor looked better. I still prefer raw food, but I would like to cut down on fats. I feel that my problem my whole life has been calorie restriction. I want to stop depriving myself and learn to eat more carbs. I have no support system, so I am here seeking guidance for a HCRV diet.
