"Sometimes it gets bad for me, too. The worst episode I had was when I was at work and I was drinking lots of water while working and I just kept slipping further and further into this dreamy-state. It was almost like I was drunk without drinking. I…"

"I would definitely watch your YouTube channel if you made one for this. :) It's a very original idea. You could always start out reviewing some products that you already have (if you have any.)"

80-10-10 is so damn hard!

"Awesome video! Bringing a jug of orange juice was a great tip. I'm a student and when I bring a bundle of bananas in my backpack usually they get really bruised up. Does anybody else know what other fruits are more tolerant to being transported…"

Kerrigan replied to figtato's discussion Is there even a justification to vegetarianism?
"Cruelty in the dairy industry isn't talked about as much and is less obvious. When I was 12 my brother and I went vegetarian. I did it for health and to lose weight, my brother did it for ethical reasons. It's more obvious that hey, this…"

"I have that exact same juicer. My dad's friend was having a garage sale and they used it maybe TWICE, got it for $20 from them. I love fresh juices with carrot, apple, oranges, some good beets taste amazing too."

Kerrigan replied to Lauren's discussion I have an ice cream maker! All I need is recipes?
"An ice cream maker will make your ice cream a lot smoother. Use bananas or persimmons for an ice cream base, then you can add other flavors. Vanilla bean, berries, dates, etc. and blend it all together, pour into ice cream maker and use it however…"

I've been vegetarian since about 12 years of age but I did what many new vegetarians did: I replaced meat/fish with eggs and dairy. For a long time I never knew the benefits of removing all animal products since there is so much information in favor of dairy and since the dairy industry preaches so well. I had severe compulsive binge problems when I was in elementary school and my weight ballooned up to ridiculous proportions, then I became addicted to exercise and starving myself. I would join the conditioning for just about every sport in my middle school and I was living off on 200 calories a day (on days I didn't water fast.) I dropped 20 pounds quickly, and became more depressed as my weight loss slowed down. People were telling me how great I was looking (since I looked of an average weight instead of overweight) but I always looked exactly the same to myself in the mirror. I've done plenty of damage to my body, and after a while I gave up hope on starving myself and I went to the polar opposite and again began binge eating. After reaching my highest and tipping the scales at 232lbs (because I had returned to meat for a year), I decided again to remove meat, and soon after I learned about veganism and removed all animal products from my life. I got down to 168lbs after a while but my weight loss has stopped and I need to lose more and get really healthy. I've read 80-10-10 and I want to have a life rich and full of energy. I discovered 811 in one of the eating-disorder support chat rooms I used to frequent. One day one of the females told me about Freelea on YouTube and said she was so skinny and ate all the fruit she wanted, and the girl who told me about Freelea said maybe it could finally be the end to her eating disorder and her struggle with her body, that she could finally be healthy. I decided to check out the YouTube channel and kept hearing "80-10-10" and whatnot and was curious about what it was, and that day or one of the next days I decided to look it up and I got the book. With the word "diet" in the title I automatically thought "oh this is just going to be a fad diet" but I was extremely pleased with how Doug Graham explained the simple logic behind all of it, explaining each type of diet and by process of elimination, showing which one we fit into. I struggle with eating such a large quantity of fruit, time to get a bigger blender! Just one extra bite at every meal, I'm slowly on my way to eating properly.

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
Information and a positive environment. I believe if I surround myself by people who are successful in a HCRV diet that I will be able to better adapt myself to it and transition to it, and I'd also like to learn about more opportunities in my area (great places to hike, best deals on fruit, etc.)
30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because we are The Borg and resistance is fruitile
