i think d3 can actually be animal sourced in a pretty harmless way (in theory at least), as some of the D3 is gotten by exposing sheeps wool to the sun and the lanolin collects the d3 or something and they extract it from that. the sheep wouldnt nee…

AR support more than anything else :) hope thats OK. I want to interact with people that are passionate about compassion for animals AS WELL AS their raw vegan diets...GITMR just isnt cutting it with the current anti-ethical-vegan sentiment going on there :/

ya I know, there's a blatant double standard going on over there.. I was utterly horrified to see TO write this to JIU: "You're right JuiceItUp. I hate vegans. I wish they'd all be composted so I can grow endless wheat to feed my flesh addiction. Now fuck off please and let people who want to talk about the article talk." (!!) Yet someone like him or me has to be careful about what we say or we'd be shown the door. I'd be pretty happy with myself if I said something naughty enough to get me banned though >:)

Check out this great post by Angus criticiquing the Vegetarian Myth:

not much safety when people like B and you are calling them to task. :D
it's actually a nice arrangement - with their help, you not only educate others, but by being exposed, they get an education too.

speaking of numbers, are there other 30badigos joining in? it's a good opportunity.

ya i didn't think much of it - also, there seems to be a fair bit of opposition which shows up from others on gitmr anyway.

the paleo people have a vested interest which is why they are trying to justify (in any way they can) what they do (even though they don't really like to do it). this is not an unusual thing. when you don't like to do something, but have convinced yourself that you would benefit by doing so, you fabricate the weirdest of rationalizations to justify what you engage in. i had someone who did just that because he was fat and he thought atkins was going to be his savior - he also made a special point to tell me that he didn't kill spiders (no doubt, because that made him a better person).

so what's happening here is that these paleo people want to feel good about participating in something bad. if they can do it under the anthropological or biological or instinctological or whateverological umbrella, they figure they aren't really the monsters they acting like. :D

rural people don't do it regularly - only some of them do.
what's they are trying to do is distort the reality.
they go from some people killing and try to apply it to all humans killing.
now not only biologically, but also psychologically people don't like to kill - when most people see squirrel, do they think 'how cute' or do they start salivating?
just ask how many creatures they themselves have killed in the past week? ask them to come forth and manifest their bragging rights. :D :D

Hey thanks, made my day knowing that at least one person enjoyed the show :)

I understand your exasperation in debating with our friend TO now. his posts are just an a seemingly endless barrage of mind-numbing rationalizations, platitudes and non-sequiturs, which is unfortunate because he does make some good points too. I just don't get that guy.

Thanks for inviting me along my friend :)

I think we make a good team against mr. It reminds me of one of the tactics from the napoleon boneparte playbook: if at the point of contact you have two of your troops against one of the enemy, whether you are facing superior forces and/or are outnumbered, that effectively nullifies whatever advantage they had. He might've learned that from Hannibal. Anyhow good work last night :)

Those folks on rawfoodrehab are really friendly, 5 people left me welcome comments today.. I'm wondering if they're going to try to sell me something next lol.
