Hello my name is Kay. I've been extremely ill for a number of years and its reached a head and is starting to affect my relationship with my boyfriend, Its not fun being with someone who can't get out of bed at least one week per year. I've been looking at different diets for years to get rid of my fatigue. During my time in the UK (eating you're average britonian diet) I was diagnosed (after years and years, lazy ass doctors) with several dietary deficiencies. Even though I've been going backwards and forwards to doctors for years it took a long time to get a diagnosis. And after initial improvement, I'm starting to relapse. I am very concerned with animal welfare and always have been but as my health deteriorates so often becoming full vegan is something I never thought about. (I had a friend in university who was vegan and only seemed to eat cakes.) But I did try the candida diet. To disastrous effects. And I think it was probably because of the fact that you had to abstain from fruit. But I have realised more and more that the food I eat has a lot to do with my health issues. Which include (not limited too), extreme fatigue, vitamin deficiencies, hormonal issues, candida and irritable bowel and a low immune system. I feel a bit selfish that my journey to vegan-ism has more to do with my health than my concern for animals, I have always said I would be come vegan if I could afford it. And that's where I need help. I wish to become a raw food vegan, but I've moved to sweden. Ive become so ill that learning the language is so difficult for me and its next to impossible to find a job without swedish. Also my boyfriend is studying, so I have about £20, around 31$ i believe, to spend on food each week (for two people). Which isn't a lot when one cucumber costs about a pound each. So I want to reach out, is there anyone who lives in Gothenburg that knows a organic food wholesaler that I can buy in bulk from. I understand my desired raw diet will not be achievable until i have more money. But I would at least like to find the money to replace some meals with nutritious smoothies. Most of the meals I do make are vegan as far as I know with pasta and tomatoes, and potatoe dishes with frozen vegetables. (I make them in bulk and we have them each for three days, and my boyfriend has mince meat with them too because hes not a veggie.) But my boyfriend won't be working for another year and a half, due to his full time study (he is swedish so getting a job then won't be to much of an issue). And I don't know if I have the energy to work full time. I am studying the language but I miss a lot of lessons due to fatigue. We might have extra income soon, but even then It won't be a lot. I would like some advice on just how nutritious things can be on an extremely limited budget and to see if anyone else here who is a little bit poor at the moment gets on with there diet :)

I would like some advice on just how nutritious things can be on an extremely limited budget. Is it ok to make smoothies from concentrate when you can't afford other bits? And is buying all frozen fruit and veg alright when you cant afford fresh? I'm just abit stuck moving forward when I can't afford to buy things in supermarkets which seem to be my only option since my transport is also limited :/
