I have been trying to transition to LFRV since about last Jan and been doing really good in June-July, but lost the plot a little bit since about September. I cant seem to find the spirit to try again, it makes it difficult that I keep travelling between my home and my partner's. It makes it difficult for a number of reasons. Obviously one would be temptation (he is happy to eat vegan meals around me, but not raw vegan). The other main thing that is a bit annoying is that I keep traveling between his place and my place, so its difficult to make sure that there is loads of fruit where I am at at that time and then sometimes i just run out, and end up eating a cooked meal and takes time to get back to raw, its just a mess, lost the fighting spirit a bit.

Hello Katy, Thanks for accepting my request. I noticed you in the chat box and i was interested in what you were saying :). I have been on here for about 4 days now and i am very interested in what i am reading and learning. I have tried for years to become a vegetarian because i did not enjoy the taste of meat, not only that, i love animals, they are so cute and precious. But i must admit i have failed time and time again. I am now fed up with my wishy washy self and have decided to stand firm in what i believe in. I still struggle here and there but my mind is changing and i get a thrill when i make something raw and delicious to eat. My children are willing to try it sometimes. I would be happy to turn them all vegetarian at this point and let them make their own decision when their time comes. It is a struggle but i am up for the challenge :D Oh and i came across this site when i watched Megan Elizabeth and Kristina's recipes on YouTube...where i first discovered Ani Phyo and Mimi Kirk....they are into nuts and coconut oil and such, which i enjoyed, but i need to lose some kilos and want to feel a little lighter when i eat and not that full bloated feeling.....and that's about it for now :D
