Lydia said… Hi Katy
I just wanted to say hello, because I live in Durham too (there can't be many of us)! I am new to being a raw vegan (just like you) and I am struggling to convince my partner to take up the lifestyle (just like you). Maybe we can inspire each other to stick with it?! Let me know how you are getting on.
Best wishes
Lydia

3lisabeth said… Hello Katy,
Thanks for accepting my request. I noticed you in the chat box and i was interested in what you were saying :). I have been on here for about 4 days now and i am very interested in what i am reading and learning. I have tried for years to become a vegetarian because i did not enjoy the taste of meat, not only that, i love animals, they are so cute and precious. But i must admit i have failed time and time again. I am now fed up with my wishy washy self and have decided to stand firm in what i believe in. I still struggle here and there but my mind is changing and i get a thrill when i make something raw and delicious to eat. My children are willing to try it sometimes. I would be happy to turn them all vegetarian at this point and let them make their own decision when their time comes. It is a struggle but i am up for the challenge :D Oh and i came across this site when i watched Megan Elizabeth and Kristina's recipes on YouTube...where i first discovered Ani Phyo and Mimi Kirk....they are into nuts and coconut oil and such, which i enjoyed, but i need to lose some kilos and want to feel a little lighter when i eat and not that full bloated feeling.....and that's about it for now :D
