"So the looking worse can make me feel crappy. I don't know what the site says you should do, but I'm all for full cleansing and detoxification of the body, quickly and efficiently so that the bad feelings pass."

"I've been looking worse since I turned raw vegan. I also realize that if I fully cleanse and detox, and the more I do, I look better. Still, it's depressing. I'm not in the best place financially and it's hard to afford this…"

"Watermelons do not strain your kidneys. Yes, they are predominantly water, but unless you are in kidney failure --- your body should be able to handle the fluid just fine. The challenge would be to ensure you are eating enough of it to get all the…"

I have always considered myself to be a healthy eater based on the knowlege I have been given. My friends call me a health nut. I have been vegetarian since I was 28 and vegan for the past 3 years for compassionate reasons. I had a massage therapy business that was doing well until the recession, I needed treatment for melanoma so I got "a real job" with a medical plan. That was 5 years ago. I have been very unhappy with my job and have discovered vegan baking. I've gained weight and I'm I'm always tired and depressed. I am addicted to coffee. I am searching for a better way. I don't want to give cancer a chance if I have any lifestyle choices in the matter. Freelee looks so healthy and happy, along with all the others I see on the 80/10/10. I've attempted raw before, but it did seem to be high fat and expensive to maintain. This looks like a plan I can keep up with. I just ordered the 80/10/10 book. I can't wait to read it.

Please tell us about your dietary inclinations:
I really want to be HCRV and just need some guidance
Reading "The 80-10-10 Diet" by Dr Doug Graham is vital for succeeding on this lifestyle. Please acquire this book as soon as possible.
I will read the book

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
My favorite book I've read this year is Ishmael. I am currently reading The Four Agreements. I spend a lot of time with my 16 year old daughter and I have my 21 year old son and his girlfriend over for dinner often. I am pursuing a psychology degree through ASU online. I love preparing food for others. Most of my friends love my meals wether they are vegan, healthnuts, or not. My favorite job was when I had my own massage therapy business. I enjoy helping people.

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
I really want to be in a community that understands my lifestyle choice in food. I need mentors and people who have been there before me. I am not going to find it in this California Redneck town. If would like to meet friends around the world who are changing the thinking of what food should be. I enjoy the company of others who don't believe in the exploitation or killing of other beings.
30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because I like totally agree with all this

Day 18

I couldn't tell you what caused it but I slept terrible last night and awoke at 5:30 am with a throbbing headache. It was different than a migraine that I usually get. I was in so much pain and having a 9:30 test final, I took some ibupoison. The headache subsided in about an hour and I was able to get about two hours more sleep.

After the final I came home and felt so sluggish. I continued to eat my ripe bananas and made some orange juice. I drank my water in…

I am glad to say, the I'm easily kicking the coffee habit. I am now 16 days into the 80 10 10.

Now for the next phase: kicking the birth control. I currently use Nuva Ring. I use BC mainly to control my periods. I use BC continuously to avoid having periods all together mostly because two days before every period, I would get a three day PMS migraine. It completely disrupts my life. And then, in the abscence of BC, my periods are light, but can last more than 7 days. I get…

Dinner Fail, Great Eclipse!

Chloe, my son's girlfriend, said that for health reasons, she is going raw. I told her I was going raw too. For family dinner night, which we have every Sunday, I planned a raw food meal. Generally, it would be expensive to make elaborate raw family meals, but we do it once a week so I tried. I chose to try Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram of Rawfully Organic's Raw Fettucine Alfredo from a recent video she posted. The sauce was amazing. I could eat it by itself. But, since I'm not a fan of raw…
