i have been a vegetarian since i´m 14 years old and for the last 3 years i switched between vegan and vegetarian (just because a lack of information) and since september 2011 i´m 100% vegan.
over the last 2 years i have bought many books about raw foods and gave it a try for a few times. the first days were always great but after a few days i don´t felt good with it. now i know why; too much fat! 2-3 avocados and many nuts and raw-dried-bread made me feel uncomfortable.
but i thought, it´s because the things were all raw and then i started to eat whole-grain vegan stuff again. but i knew, there is something wrong with my eating habits, i knew that there is something waiting for me to discover it!
i always loved fruit and i would consider it as my favourite food!
but i have always been told, that too much fruit isn´t good because of all the sugar und that fruit isn´t a real meal and blablabla.
so it was really hard for me at first to eat for example 4 oranges as a lunch and really see it as a meal! i was feeling like i´m snacking all day long on fruit, but have no "real meal".
that´s all because of the brainwash that was done to me my whole life!
and oh yeah; "bananas are bad! don´t eat to much of them, they will make u fat!" but cake after dinner is ok?
like i´ve said; i always loved fruit and now it´s such a great feeling to eat mono-meals of my favourite fruits or have a large green smoothie and just feel fine with it because that´s my food now. it´s no snack, i don´t have to "eat some real food" because fruits, veg and greens ARE the real food!
i found 30BaD when i searched for raw food on google.
and yesterday i ordered 80/10/10 on amazo and i´m looking forward to read it and it helps me to stay on this path now.

i want to be hcrv because i know it´s the best for my body&mind (tried it a few times for a couple of days) but it´s hard to be alone with all this. so i´m really happy to have the oppurtunity to talk to other "hcrv-beginners" and "long-time bananamunchers"! :P
