I have been exploring the RAW Food options along with Clean Eating, Vegetarian/Vegan, Alkalarian and RAW lifestyles for about 5 years now. In that time I have shed 75 lbs ... 20 of which I regained over the past year. Currently I am exploring 811 ... still having trouble getting rid of the fats, but down to 20% on average over the week.
I live in a rural location in Canada and fresh organic fruits can be very pricy in the winter ... if they are even available. So I have lots to learn about living 811 HCRV in a cold climate.
I teach Nutritional Wellness classes and coach clients on cleaning up their diets and getting more RAW & green foods in every day. I love helping people improve their health and love to see the changes that they are able to make in their lives. My goal is to work full-time in Wellness Coaching. Currently I still work outside of the home.
I have been running for the past 1.5 years and ran two half marathons last year as well as one leg of an Ultra Marathon. I have a full race schedule of nine races booked for 2012. I am not fast but I am stubborn ;)

Just getting started with HCRV. I've been primarily vegetarian for over a year; meaning I occasionally eat Salmon and have trouble giving up cheese.
I just read 80\10\10 and was very interested about the role fat plays in keeping sugar in the blood stream. I've never felt right eating so many nuts and seeds, as are advocated in mainstream RAW.
I love the simplicity of the Mono meals. It just makes a lot of sense to follow a HCRV 811. Now I need to figure out how to make it work for me in my cold Northern Climate.
