Some "raw food" places - cafes, "natural foods" stores - around So-Cal are selling this stuff. Bottled water company, Starfire, working its way into the so-called "enlightened" community in California by promoting its bottled water product as better for you because the company has (they say) "liquid gold" in their "structured water" product that "facilitates higher awareness." Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. Detailed responses will only be accepted (feel free to reapply with more detail if at first not approved as a member). We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: I first began cutting meat out of my diet when I was ten years old and saw that a neighbor had killed a deer.

I became vegan when I was getting sicker and sicker, spending more and more time in hospitals, and being told by doctors I was soon going to die if I didn't A) have my thyroid gland removed B) undergo a procedure to prep my arm to start undergoing dialysis C) undergo a kidney transplant as soon as possible. I never underwent any of those procedures. Going vegan literally saved my life. (Some of those doctors have since died. And I've been vegan since the early 90s. I win!)

I am the author of the following books:

Sunfood Diet Infusion: Transforming Health Through Raw Food Veganism
