I realized it is important for me to recognize all the little successes that will one day lead up to a bigger success. But every time I fail, I tend to only look at the failure. Wasn't I succeeding until I failed? Why didn't I recognize that before?

I've been lingering around her the last few months, not really able to fully apply 8-1-1, but I have noticed that it has influenced my food choices to a degree. I'll generally pick high carb, low fat foods, but not always the best ones.
I guess I'm drawn back here because there are things that I want to fix that haven't been going away on their own and I do still view this as the ideal diet. Maybe I can give it a more honest try again and handle some issues I've had attention…

Okay, I've survived 2 days. Yesterday I was extremely bloated in the morning (before the banana-eating commenced). I couldn't eat anything until around 3:00pm. Then, as I went to the kitchen to make my first banana smoothie, I caught a whiff of pizza and quiche. Oh man, I almost lost it. I had the quickest inner-dialogue of about 100 times of this cycle:
"Should I?"
"I shouldn't
"But I want to"
"No I don't"
(repeat)
I picked up a piece of pizza…

It's been so long since I've posted on here!! Like a year it seems.
I really wanted to keep up a blog here for my 30 day challenge on banana island, starting tomorrow. I have fake nails on so it is really hard to type... so I will keep it short today.
