Following a conversation with a friend of mine who was very chuffed that she'd lost a stone in 4 weeks following 'slimming world', I have been feeling really p****d off.I am tying to lose weight by eating the obvious, but feel my progress is slow. My husband showed me a youtube video from durianrider, and I instantly felt connected to the message. I am an Events co ordinator and crafts person by day. I unschool my young children.

I need to reclaim my body, love myself, and be a better role model for my children. I am only 32 but have huge weight issues, which are destroying my confidence and impacting on my mental, emotional and spiritual state. I am ready to change NOW!

Yeah, I seriously didn't like the way people punish their children... I guess it's better than school but still very much short of the real thing. We really don't know where we're going to end up at this stage, I can work from anywhere so that's good but there are other... factors. EU is easiest in many ways yet I don't currently feel like we'll be able to find our place in Europe... New Zealand has many wonderful things to offer, Australia also to a lesser degree, but it's tricky to get a long term visa there.

 

Thailand is very good in many ways, it's getting slightly trickier with visas though. I'd probably not settle here long-term though. We're very much travellers too...
