iusecomputers2 said… Well i gotta tell ya...being raw in any season but summer is difficult. I've been on this path for a little over two years. Bananas and dates are obviously the easiest to get. 4.50/lb at sams club (dates) and the cheapest bananas you can find are 29c/lb but thats only at TOPS (and it's rare) or ethnic markets (indian/asian). Right now mangoes are coming in. I actually have a hook up with an indian vendor on MANGOES right now so i'm willing to buy boxes for you ($8 a box). Citrus is usually great in Rochester but your only gonna get a deal at the public market. Vegetables and tender greens are never an issue. Like I said summer is the best time for going 100%! I'm currently on the banana wagon. I don't know how you feel about juices but one of my secrets is store brand (wegmans) flash pasteurized 100 percent OJ. It's really good. I used to splurge on wegmans fresh squeezed but ti's pricey. I supplement with tubers, potatoes mostly (sweet, yukon, russet). I find they digest the easiest and I really do enjoy them. I don't know how basic your eating style is and I don't know where you wanna be but I'll let you know that I'm probably the biggest fruit muncher in Monroe county and that I add no condiments! LOL . Alright look forwarding to hearing from yoU!
