I am a gal in her mid twenties. I have always had digestion issues. I have tried to become vegan and have failed once or twice. Each time I fail I get sick or acne problems flair up. I am sick of it and am ready to feel great like all of the people I have seen do the HCRV lifestyle. I also found our that my father is on the brink of type 2 diabetes. My grandfather died of a heart attack in his late 40s. I don't want that for myself. I want to live a long life and feel good along the way. I am hoping to get some support along my journey so I can have a better life for myself and my family.

Please tell us about your dietary inclinations:
I really want to be HCRV and just need some guidance
Reading "The 80-10-10 Diet" by Dr Doug Graham is vital for succeeding on this lifestyle. Please acquire this book as soon as possible.
I will read the book
Are you Connected?
yes married
My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
My favorite book is Homecoming by Cynthia Voight. I could read that over and over again. My favorite movie is Rigeletto. It was a old movie my parents got from some christian mail order movie service. It is not religious but has a great message and beautiful singing. I love to listen to a variety of music to relax.

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
I need help with how to make sure that I am getting the proper nutrition while on this lifestyle. I tend to have low iron (even back when on SAD). I would love idea of what to eat, how to get the food in the most frugal way possible. Maybe some help as to how to explain how HCRV can be healthy. I have many nay sayers and I still want to be able to do this successfully.

Well i gotta tell ya...being raw in any season but summer is difficult. I've been on this path for a little over two years.  Bananas and dates are obviously the easiest to get.  4.50/lb at sams club (dates) and the cheapest bananas you can find are 29c/lb but thats only at TOPS (and it's rare) or ethnic markets (indian/asian).  Right now mangoes are coming in.  I actually have a hook up with an indian vendor on MANGOES right now so i'm willing to buy boxes for you ($8 a box).  Citrus is usually great in Rochester but your only gonna get a deal at the public market.  Vegetables and tender greens are never an issue.  Like I said summer is the best time for going 100%!  I'm currently on the banana wagon.  I don't know how you feel about juices but one of my secrets is store brand (wegmans) flash pasteurized 100 percent OJ.  It's really good.  I used to splurge on wegmans fresh squeezed but ti's pricey.  I supplement with tubers, potatoes mostly (sweet, yukon, russet).   I find they digest the easiest and I really do enjoy them.   I don't know how basic your eating style is and I don't know where you wanna be but I'll let you know that I'm probably the biggest fruit muncher in Monroe county and that I add no condiments!  LOL .   Alright look forwarding to hearing from yoU!
