29 years oldfemaleI havent weighted myself in the past few days because I dont want to know - but I am about 147lbs...and want to lose 15-20 lbs of fatI ran for 30 minutes at a pace of 6 min/km average. "Another important thing to keep in mind - make sure you are eating enough! If you get plenty of fruit calories for breakfast and lunch, that should keep you from wanting to eat anything you can get your hands on for dinner."

Profile Information

Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. Detailed responses will only be accepted (feel free to reapply with more detail if at first not approved as a member). We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.
I read a book called 'In Defense of Food' which kind of got me started on this journey of wanting to eat differently...then I was introduced to 'raw gourmet' by my sister in law, and since then I have been quite interested in finding out more about different ways of eating...vegan, low fat raw vegan, fruitarianism...and finding what is best for me.
From what I have found, I am most drawn to the LFRV lifestyle for many reasons...
1. Health - I want my body to be pure and naturally healthy, and fit.
2. Weight - I have about 15 pounds to lose still from my first pregnancy and I want to achieve this by eating clean foods, not processed diet crap...or restricting calories and being super hungry all the time and not enjoying what I am eating...
4. I LOVE fruit...I want to simplify my life...often 'diets', ingredient lists for cooking...even making raw gourmet stuff is so complicated...I want this to be easy and simple for me - pick up banana, peel, eat. I think that is as simple as it can get!

I am interested in following this lifestyle, but feel that I need access to more information, resources, support (real people who can answer my questions)...etc...
When I do become pregnant again, I am nervous about how doctors will react to my choice to eat this way. I want to make sure I am taking care of my body and therefore my baby's, so learning more about this here is of great importance to me at this time.

Today I ate:

1092 calories from fruit...
