"I recently discovered you can reset the calorie goal for yourself in cronometer. It used to tell me I needed 1900 cals, but I changed it to tell me I need 2500 cals. That way, you can get a more accurate peek of your day as it progresses."

Allergic to Bananas?

Hello everyone,It's time for my newbie question of the week. Haha. I'm exaggerating, but here's my current problem: On days where I eat a lot of bananas, I get really bad headaches and have to go to bed early. It's a real problem. It's particularly worse if I eat them after exercise, which I think is a clue.I follow Megan Elizabeth's videos, and noticed that she had had a similar problem. Her problem was solved when she realized that this only happened to her when she ate frozen bananas.…See More

I was referred to this site by Jonas, who I met within a group on Facebook, called Vegan. He also recommended 80/10/10 by Douglas Graham after I watched Forks Over Knives, cut oil, and exclaimed how much better I felt. I have struggled with fibromyalgia since my diagnosis four years ago. Since cutting oil, I became more energetic and my pain decreased. So, then I added a whole bunch of fruit to my regimen, which just compounded the benefits exponentially. I am currently reading Dr. Graham's book, during a yearly fast that I do with my husband, and everything is sounding so great. I am planning to try it for a year, as he suggests in the book, remembering that my favorite steamed tubers and starches like artichokes will always be there after the year, if I still want them. I trust that I probably won't. So, I am here for support and guidance as I make the switch, and fumble through this new way of eating. I already eat 70-80% raw fruits and vegetables, but still consume heated tubers, grains, beans and other steamed starches and oligo-saccharides. I look forward to getting to know all of you, and working with you, and growing with you. I am very excited to have found a new community that can assist me in growing further into a more natural and harmonious life. There is no choice for I /am/ reading the book, so I chose the I will, as I have not yet finished it, but I am on Chapter 6.

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
I am just in the learning and transiting phase, right now. So, any information, question answering and gentle correction will be greatly appreciated. I am also getting into exercise for the first time in my life, and watched a video by Freelee, which encouraged me to keep a regular cardiovascular workout. So, I began to go to the gym for the elliptical as a start, and it feels so good. With that, I will be ready for advice for stepping up my workout, to be a fit, healthy lady within some time. Thanks for this community, guys! Thanks for asking how to help!

It's been going pretty well! My boyfriend and I are just starting out and we've slowly gotten rid of all of our cooked foods. I didn't think he would be into it but he loves it! We were both vegan and gluten free to begin with so it's been a relatively easy transition. Just need to get used to eating more and learn food combining and things like that. How is it for you?
