Hi there, I've been vegan for around a year and a half. I started out on the raw till 4 extremely abundant diet but lacked greens. However, I ate plenty of calories from fruit. After 8 months, I felt stressed, wasn't enjoying my food anymore and gained 15 pounds of fat. I was overstuffing myself. So, I went off rt4 for about 5 months, and now I am wondering about the 80/10/10 high raw diet. I'm an athlete, and need plenty of energy and can't be hungry all the time - I want to eat when I'm hungry and not have restrictions or fear of weight gain! Being an athlete means I have to stay as light and energetic as I can, and if at any point my diet interrupts in my training then I don't know if I could continue the diet.

Fully raw cleanse day 6

Hi everyone

Today was a tough day to get through. And I mean tough. I felt carbed up and never let myself go hungry, managed a total of about 2400 cals today(appropriate for my h&w). But I'm getting cravings! For pasta, for rice, the cooked food. So I'm letting myself have a bit of roasted broccoli today. Might not be raw but its better than going to a heavy pasta meal and binging out.

Fully raw 7 day cleanse day 5

Saturday 6th June 

Super fun day. 

Breakfast: 300g pineapple + 1 apple + 1 orange 

Went for a 6k run + 3k walk. Had 2 medjool dates. 

Post run: 750ml veggie juice

Lunch: 3 banana smoothie + 1 large handful of frozen blueberries + 2 leaves kale and 1 raw gourmet caramel banana brownie 

Afternoon tea: 1 medium mango + 2 small persimmons

Raw vegan 7 day cleanse #2

So this is my 2nd day on my fully raw 80/10/10 cleanse. Wednesday 3rd June(cross country race tomorrow, aiming for 23-25 min in the 4k)

What I ate today: 

Breakfast: 4 banana nicecream + greens 400 cals

Morning tea: 1 banana + 3 dates and pb, one brazil nut 300 cals

Lunch: Rice paper rolls with fresh veggies, pb sauce, orange, 2 apples 400 cals

Afternoon tea: About 1 large cavendish banana 100 cals. 3 dates + 1 large apple. 250 cals
