Jelle said… Thank you! Nice bio! Almost answered all questions, and nice to see you came into raw foods via your mom. Do you only have one average rest day a week from trainings? and 1.5 - 2 hours per day training... /me bows! What are your average sleep times in the winter and summer periods (powerdown and powerup times?) I struggle at getting deep sleep cycles. I seem to have issues recovering fast, if I do a good workout (do a similar style as you do) I often feel soar for two to three days minimal... most of the times they will influence my other trainings, so I get overstrained very fast... I currently try to do bi daily trainings to compensate. Do you follow some stretching regime?
Jelle said… Still waiting for that little bio about your training and food intake :) Your pics. look awesome!

Well ive been 100% raw on and off for 4 years, but never really took into consideration calories. Now that ive come across the 80.10.10 it some how makes total sense and i cant believe i missed it before. When I ate cooked food i always checked carbohydrates, but when I went raw I stopped counting calories/carbs/protein and just ate what i wanted and when I was hungry.
When I ate meat I was 95kg, now Im 75kg/80kg. Since Monday when starting HCRV im now getting between 2500 and 3000 calories per day. Ive been doing 6 bananas and 10 date smoothies for breakfast and lunch, with fruit snacks in between. I work in a garden so i chomp on apples from the trees. Then for supper I eat a big salad with veggies with a nut or seed dressing and avocado to get my fats. Not been in the gym this week as my tonsils and throat became really swollen and sore.
Ive always struggled with abs ? some say train them everyday, some say rest them. Im now thinking maybe to train abs 4 days a week intensely ? (20mins ? ) . So I guess what your saying is ... Alternate body parts each day. Alternate routines . Alternate intensities... rest and eat an 80.10.10 diet ????
after 4 days eating this way i can already start to feel my stomach to be flatter. Not as bloated.
YOu explain things really well thank you.
What are your fitness and health goals ? Do you work a job ? 1.5 hours training is a little much for me at present
Thanks for sharing
Perry
Perry Haldenby said… great info thanks ... I used to eat all the protein shakes and stuff too. Yes Im on the body weight work outs now and feeling saw after my first session. Can defo feel how strong I will get. So do you find that you work out the same body parts each day ? In the past I would split each muscle group each day to give them a rest, but it seems with body weight workouts, all the body gets a workout everyday ?
