Fitness and work?

Work is very important to me, but it's very mentally demanding. If I'm tired from working out my work suffers.I've taken a break from the gym for the last few months, and have noticed improvements in energy and therefore the results I am getting at work.I want to start training again. How can I start training hard without affecting my work? I haven't been able to find a balance yet by just eating more and sleeping more. At this point in my life, work is the higher priority.See More

Dry bland bananas w/ mould on the stem

I got these cheap bananas from the market, but they're pretty horrible. They're hardly sweet at all, very dry. The stem has turned black and is covered with a white mould. The core of the banana, the thin part running right through the middle of it, has turned grey and is very dry. The bananas easily split into three section around the core. Are they okay to eat? They're certainly not pleasant to eat, but they're not completely disgusting either. Just tasteless and dry. Since I always look for…See More

Strength loss

Before I came to LFRV I was a reasonably strong lifter. I was also suffering from some form of chronic fatigue and found it hard to get out of bed most days. But even through the worst of it, on my old diet (which was your typical omnivorous high protein lifting diet), when I did manage to get to the gym (about once a week) I managed to at least maintain my strength and over a long period actually increase my lifts. Since coming to LFRV (six weeks 100% now) I feel about 1000% better, have…See More

I'm 100% HCRV since Nov 2011. Interested in non-competitive powerlifting and cycling as hobbies. I have parents who are supportive of HCRV and encouraged me to give it a go -- though it took me a long time to eventually call them out of the blue and say "I'm going 100%!" I made an overnight transition from a typical weightlifting diet to HCRV, and had no trouble at all making the switch.
