The good news-- 2218 cal. The bad news-- 25% fat-- mostly from cookies. I did really great with eating a nice big breakfast smoothie of bananas and dates (with the ribs from kale thrown in). Ate more dates as snacks. Enjoyed a super yummy green salad with the same tahini-agave dressing as yesterday. Walked the dogs and came home wanting to eat everything in sight. Another good day. Calories: 1915, with 14.3% fat. Weight holding around 160. My scales disagree about my bodyfat, but it's somewhere in the 34-37% range. That is actually good, because it means my lean mass is pretty much where I want it to be and I can hopefully lose just fat! The lack of weight gain is promising, since I'm definitely eating about 500+ calories more than I used to. Today was a decent day! The only thing I didn't quite get right was the coffee, but I have a feeling coffee will get less interesting as time goes by. Calorie intake 2153 with 14% fat (1/2 avocado.)
Spent four hours gardening-- mostly cleaning up from my last gardening session (I let the stuff dry before trying to collect it) and weeding the palm bed. Lots more to do tomorrow.

Not a perfect day. I got over 2,000 cals, which is good, but a quarter of that was french fries. Made the mistake of going out and about with a cranky teen, and although I did have a lovely 1000 cal banana-date smoothie, it apparently wasn't enough. Need to pack emergency dates.
