What is ETHICAL about eating 80/10/10 style?

Many people here tend to say they are vegan for ethical reasons and that they are 80/10/10 for health.  However, I'm interested to hear people's ethical reasons for being raw. Is improving one's health completely separate from ethics? What I would be VERY interested in is to hear from someone who started eating 80/10/10 for ethical reasons first and foremost, and for any personal reasons (like personal health) second.Perhaps for the environment, as it seems to be fruit is the most efficient in…See More

Hello! I hope you had a great Christmas time. I live in rosemont, it is not too far from mile end. I guess we'll have the chance to meet soon. I am looking forward to know the details about a meeting that François talked about.

Hello Jenni! I see you live in montreal too. I didn't have the chance to meet any other people interested with 811lfrv yet. It is nice to know I am not alone to deal with all the snow and the cold. And to break a 811lfrv week by going to Aux Vivres!

I often go to Gaéten Bono also. I wonder if I have already seen 811 lovers without knowing it?

Hey Jenni, if you decide to come to Cairo to study arabic, I can definitely help out. The American Unversity here has an excellent summer Arabic course, both classical and colloquial.

I think you would love it here! You will find a lot of musical events to attend, and maybe participate in. who knows? :-)

Hey Jenni! Hello from sunny Cairo. I can't believe that you play the aood. Are you of Middle Eastern heritage?
You definitely have a friend here whenever you decide to make the trip. And yes, our fruit selection isn't very big, but wow is it tasty!!

If you need any music from here, let me know...

I saw the mention of arabic music, I love it. Spend a lot of time diving in the Red Sea (Sinai) and am offended at having to listen to western pop and rap in that setting. Been there 9 times, usually a month or so each time.

Sorry you couldn't sleep at 5am, I know how that feels. I love sunny mornings as well as late nights, so sometimes I have to decide, hehe. Yeah I missed today, but tomorrow I'm forcing myself up early to go shopping. Good luck with your sleep tonight!

lol, yes! I noticed that as well. For me, it's just my normal schedule, ... I'm kind of shifted, hehe. So much shifted that I'm actually searching for a few posts on here about Vitamin D supplementation for those of us who are challenged in getting sunlight this time of year :-) I hope your schedule is a little better?
