Jehnna, you sound so on to it. Your diet sounds amazing. Forgive me for being ageist but you look so young to have all this wisdom. I hope whatever you have faced healthwise has resolved. I have just spent the week in the paediatric acute assessment ward and I just came home everyday being thankul that I'm healthy and have the wisdom to do something about it if I'm not. Some of the situations I saw, I couldn't help thinking(a bit uncharitably) that these people were their own worst enemy. I was so stressed by Friday that I had a huge vegan cooked feed. Bummed me out as I was on Day 7, but I'm happy to start again-Day 1! At least I know where it came from and hopefully next time I'm confronted with this situation I'll be better prepared to cope.
How are you? So banana island was a challenge? I have never tried it. I'm such a banana pig that I could probably do it, no problem. My biggest issue is knowing when to stop. Once I start eating bananas, I just keep going. Kind of freaks me out. I know that everyone here is like the more calories in fruit the better-but I haven't come that far to think that calories don't count and I don't want to put on weight but that's another conversation all together.
So what made you move from Invercargill? I came down here to do my degree. Its been interesting. We bought a house when we came down to give ourselves a sense of permanence so we couldn't bolt at the first sign of trial and tribulation. So here we are-whatever doesn't kill us(eg. THE COLD) is going to make us stronger.
Hope all is well with you. I'd love to hear from you when you have a mo.
Hi Jehnna, I have just started up again(this is my third day) and I'm keen to do a 45-day challenge. I know I shouldn't limit myself but I'm very goal oriented and I tend to need a target to work towards and possibly a reward at the end (beyond my fabulous health and lean strong body:) So how are you approaching it? What are your goals? I'd love to catch up when we both have a spare mo! Oh, I'm in Invers but I'd love a contact from the land of cherries and pit fruit-Nom!
