I've been alive for 40 years, as of this writing, Dec 2011. I've lived in the Bay Are, Northern California most of my life, eating anything and everything, being fairly ignorant about the consequences until recently. I've had intense gastrointestinal pain/bloating upon eating anything for the last ten years. For the last several months of 2011 I've transitioned to 811, with wisdom from Doug Graham, Durianrider and Freelee, to name the most influential. I feel a lot better physically, but still transitioning and trying to find the right balance to reduce my pain and bloating after eating anything. Because of this, it's hard to achieve a truly HCRV, but I aspire to be once I've healed through healthy living. I hope to spread the powerful 811 message and LFRV positivity.

Thanks Kim. I'm not sure what type of eds she has, I didn't even know there were different types, but I'm curious now, so I'll ask when we get back to work after the holidays. It's good to hear you conquered your pain/bloating with this healthier way of eating, I'm determined to stick with it, thanks for the encouraging and motivational words.
hey thanks for the add, hows your friend doing with th eds? which type does she have? i dont know anyone with it as its so rare or un diagnosed. i used to get a lot of pain and bloating i dont any more the fruit is so cleansing, i have been playing with raw for just over a year, so stick with it. wishing you health and happiness kim ;-)
Thanks to both of you for the positive thoughts. Hi Jubilee, I've seen many gastro doctors, but they didn't touch on diet, except to have me try a gluten free diet for a while to see if it would help, it didn't seem to make much difference. Since my transition toward 811, I've been gluten free again and I haven't seen a doctor to ask about the effect of fruit/veg diet, but plan to early in the new year. I do feel like I've seen some positive improvement since transitioning began, but still a long way to go. Good luck on your journies. Jeff
It took me a while to transition I am just getting started 100% vegan/raw. Just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the journey. Have you seen any Dr. about your condition and the effect of an all raw fruit/veg diet could have? What do Dr.s recommend you do? (Not that they are right, just wondering.) I know some people have a problem with yeast imbalances when they have to much starchy fruit and they already have a yeast problem. Good Luck! Wishing you sunshine and healing.
