Janet replied to steffi's discussion Which step led to YOUR biggest health improvement? Leaving out dairy, meat, wheat, gluten ...?

I have been browsing the site for a while and I have been doing 80/10/10 for over a month now and I have read the book. It makes a lot of sense to me but I suppose from time to time I will have questions and need support. Here in Ireland nobody that I have ever met has heard of this diet and, in fact, I don't even know any vegans, even cooked food vegans.

Hi Janet.  I was wondering if you would mind sharing with me what kind of vegan dinners you make for the family?  The rest of my family eat dairy, eggs and fish.  I am married to an Irish fella who up until a year ago ate meat everyday of his life so we are making great progress, but I sometimes have difficultly coming up with vegan dinner ideas as the simple food that I eat doesn't cut it with him :0

The festival was in Bristol. Sooooo good! I wish that was just a city that was always vegan as i soo would have stayed forever. I've met a few vegans online and 1 that comes to the juice bar but that is it:-( There is no community here at all for it which is sad!!! Ive spoke to a few people about the next festivals coming up so ive been planning a stall at them to get involved:-) Got a few ideas in mind so just got 2 settle on 1.

I do prefer also to eat mainly fruit and veg but i got the dehydrator for a wee change from time to time:-)

Xxx

Yes, def find me on facebook lol i am still a little unsure how to use this.

Thats brill u have converted both of them. After being away at the vegan festival all weekend wit my parner, i think they have gone veggie at least:-)

Yes i no that area quite well. One of my best friends lives in Carrick and my uncle lives in Jordans Town. U would have been closer then to the Zumo we had in Abby Center tho that closed last month.

If u r craving crisps, y not get a dehydrator? Ive just recently bought one myself:-) The 9 tray excalibur. U can make crackers in them.

40 days juicing wasnt hard at all from me because of were i work. I did set out to do mainly veg juice but the majority were fruit and alot of bananas to fill up on.
