Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: My name is Jamie, I am a T.V/film student from Scotland. I live just out side Edinburgh in a place called woodburn, not the most vibrant place on the planet. I had been vegitarian since I was around the age of 10, that was the part of my life where I found out where meat came from and from then on my body rejected meat. Around the age of 17 I started smoking and continued to do so untill june 2011. I had began to develope all sorts of horrible conditions such as heavy breathing,coughing,IBS,general fatigue,sinus problems,back problems and hart palpitations. I was becoming increasingly worried that I was going to die young so decided to do somthing about it. I came across Durianrider on the net which motivated me to get up and exercise and fuel that exercise with fruit and veg and so far it has deliverd excellent resuilts. Now instead of laying around eatting pizza and smoking I go walking,running,swimming,cycling, rock climbing,exercise in my house and exercise at my local gym. My energy levels are better than ever now, this has helped me find a passion for climbing. I have finished my film studys and now studying heath and excercise which will enable me to move onto university to study nutrition next year!!!!!

We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?: I have a pritty good knowlege after following Durianrider for almost a year now. However I still need to start and finish reading the china study and 80/10/10. I am 6 months into my new vegan lifstyle. The only processed food I eat now is rye bread occasionally. I am working towards finding an affordable fruit wholeseller that could see me go fully HCRV (yas!!!).

My wee victory!

I have notice over the past few weeks at my college, the people who used to say I was crazy for eatting so much fruit are now always asking for pieaces of fruit off me when they see me eating. I always share fruit with anyone that asks! One guy who is now a good friend of mine now and is a type 1 diabetic said ever since meeting me has increased the amount of fruit in his diet but he didn't know why, I said its because he loves fruit but he just didn't know it yet!
