Hi,

I am new to the raw food lifestyle in that I first heard of it last year after watching Food Matters. Several youtube videos later, I learned of high carb, low fat raw vegan.
Many thanks to Harley and Freelee for their educational videos.

I grew up on SAD and want to make the leap into raw food (lfhc raw vegan). I've read 80/10/10.... fantastic book. Aside from the ethical reasons (which I've learned more about), I also want to practice this lifestyle to uproot and release the on/off depression I've had. I hope to then teach by example. I am currently enrolled in a general nutrition program; but, would like to focus more on lfhcrv and practice/teach.

I really want to be HCRV and just need some guidance
Reading "The 80-10-10 Diet" by Dr Doug Graham is vital for succeeding on this lifestyle. Please acquire this book as soon as possible.
I have read the book

The education you provide is superb. I appreciate your passion for this lifestyle and that you both walk-the-talk.

Setting up for success.....

Posted on May 4, 2012 at 12:45am 3 Comments

Hi everyone,

I've been off & on 80/10/10 recently.  I would like to give it its best chance.

Any advice for setting yourself up for success?  That I can do today?

I understand carbs (fruit) are key; but, I do well with details.  Any specific tips would be hugely appreciated.

Even if it sounds silly, if you found it helpful to have done, please share.  (I did watch Freelee's pain/peasure…

yes! Bikram is awesome. I would recommend it. Great exercise. Good strength builder, and flexibility.

Luckily the studio I go to has all types of warm yoga, like Yin, YinYan, and Vinyassa Flow.
I'd try em all! :)
