I've been vegan for about 5 years now, and my boyfriend has an increasing interest in becoming completely raw vegan. I'd like to do this properly too and with the correct advice, and without critism. I play for a roller derby team and want to increase my fitness and stamina as I'm not one of the youngest on the team, but certainly one of the most competative. I have looked at various sites but as you have a very active life style, I believe you could offer the best advice.

Reading "The 80-10-10 Diet" by Dr Doug Graham is vital for succeeding on this lifestyle. Please acquire this book as soon as possible.: I will read the book

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....: I haven't read much in recentl years due to manic lifestyle of the past, however, my most recent and favourite read was From Dusk til Dawn by Keith Mann. A few other are Iam Legend, Fight Club, and 1984 (but I supppose that's not the relevant sort of reading you're asking about).

We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?: Most advice on how to incorporate exercise and a raw food life style. I have made a few attemps and fell off the wagon, but think this is because I wasn;t doing it right. I thought becoming vegan was difficult, but it wasn't (my boyfriend has been vegan for 17 years though, so that helped).

30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV.
