I spend most of my time reading right now or being on the internet trying to figure this all out. . I recently had two surgeries. Before that I took care of my grandson since he was 5 weeks old. He will be three in may.

I am 57 years old and struggling with weight issues. I am unhealthy and on many medications because of the illness'. I want to be whole. To feel as young as my heart feels. Heym, haven't talked to you for a while, just wondering how your raw food journey is going? Mine took a backseat for awhile, but I'm back in the game. I decided that this time I'm going to go slow and start out at 60% raw and every week increase my raw food eating by 10%. I think it will help me to get into it better.
Gracie - I'm still not completely 80-10-10 either. I eat fruit up until supper time, and then usually a salad and some soup or stir-fried veg or sometimes just a few pieces of whole grain bread spread with avo. I do want to get there eventually, but so far I'm tired of fruit by evening and want something savory. I probably eat 2,000 calories in fruit during the day, though. I might drink several pitchers of banana smoothie and eat a bag of oranges. Looking forward to melon season! I also exercise a lot, at least an hour per day. This morning was lovely so I walked 8 miles on the bike trail, but usually I do more like 4 or 5, or weight train plus walk a couple or three miles.
