For my 40th birthday this year I gave myself a present and took a local raw foods class. A few times in the past I experimented with the raw foods diet but it was short lived. The day of this class, however, I said to my boyfriend "I having a feeling this class is a step that will change my life" The class was awesome, so I took another. That's when the instructor told us about the 811 book and a new local raw restaraunt (there I started reading the book). I finished the book last week and now feel so blessed that I didn't suffer transitioning down a raw high fat path food path that had so many others had gone before. I just started the 811 this week. It's been a little dicey. I think I was experiencing detox sympotoms for the last few days because today I feel fantastik. I'm clear headed, I have a lot of energy and I'm craving fruit like I used to crave white carbs but in a good way. During the week I had some reservations about this way of eating because of the way that I was feeling and concerns about nutritional deficiencies but now I'm convinced that given a little guidance, I've finally found the proper way of eating for optimal health. Let me tell you, it has been a long, expensive frustrating road. I'm looking forward to my healing journey on the 811 way of life. I feel blessed that my local raw food instructor follows the 811 and can be a source of support but am looking for all the guidance and support that I can find, so I was thrilled to discover your website.
Thanks, Fruity Pebbles

This year I started out with a goal to get in shape mentally and physically, part of that includes trying new things and continually challenging my mind and body. I love to dance. I'm currently taking tap dance lessons. It's very challenging and I'm in love with it. I do Zumba twice a week, a pole fit class once a week and started hula hooping. I also love to bike and rollerblade. I mostly read: nutrition, psychology and metaphysical books. I love comedies.
