I improved my time by 3 minutes. My recovery time was a lot quicker and I could still feel the burn by the back leg muscles for 3 days after the run. I am super excited to run a 10k, hopefully sometime in July. This in preparation for my first mountain climb in 2014. TGBTG!

Ran my first 5k yesterday! So excited! 41 minutes 30 seconds :) I had 1 watermelon for breakfast, some sponsored coconut water in a tetra pak (I forgot the name but it was yummy) immediately after the run, then for brunch, another watermelon, then for lunch a chia berry shake, and salad. For dinner, Another large salad and a fruit platter. I slept for 10 hours after :) I woke up feeling refreshed, but around 4 pm the next day, I felt like sleeping early again.
Where are the best places to get fruit in Central/Upstate, NY, Boston/Milton, WA and West Covina, CA? Going on a road trip with a bunch of carnivores. It would be nice to explore as many varieties of non-tropical fruit (I'm from the Philippines) while I'm there! Thanks!
