I asked the company what kind of converter are they recommending and they told me to buy another Blender that is adapted for 220V. I cannot afford this ... Hello,

I recently bought a Blendtec from the US and I would like to use it in Europe. I asked the company what kind of converter are they recommending and they told me to buy another Blender that is adapted for 220V. I cannot afford this ... Did anyone had experiences with a US blender in Europe?
