"Your taste buds will detect: Sweet, sour, bitter, spice(heat), and salt. Pure fat is completely tasteless. It has a texture but not a taste. Same with protein. The things you taste in plain steak are the minerals (salts), and sugars(from the blood).…"

"Just make your fruit meal bigger. Eating only fruit on an empty stomach is very good for digestion and nutrient assimilation. Fruit only takes about 30 minutes to digest so you can prepare your salad in this time."

"Eun, DR's reply here is all you need. Sugar cravings are 100% natural and we should listen to them. When you crave sugar, what it says is that your body needs fuel. Give it that fuel, in the form of sweet, juicy fruit :)"

I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for 7 years and recently decided to become a raw-vegan-frutarian completely. To me I am having hard time cutting my sugar addiction. I cannot refuse chocolate and cookies my collegues offer in the office. It just happened today again. Maybe I should eat more bananas not to be tempted by evil offerings.
