*9 months vegan* smashed by viruses and cfs symptoms.Going vegan helped my CFS (that I've fought in bouts for the last 13 years) but nothing like raw vegan!! hurrah!! Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: Hi there. The last 13 years has been a struggle for me. Surviving several invisible diseases. In 1999 I was a Year 11 student, dancing 5 days a week, living and loving life and learning. I fell ill and was diagnosed with Glandular Feaver/Epstein-Barr/Mono, I rested and rested and when I believed I was well I returned to my active teen life, to fall in a heap. Early in 2000 I was diagnosed with Cytomegalovirus and struggled through my Senior Year of school. University days, my health was stable, though not thriving and the lifestyle of study/work/party took its toll by the end of my degrees when I again feel in a heap... down and out for about 16 months - with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E) and later with Fibromyalgia.

I met my love in 2005, while I was ill, he has helped me a great deal. I started to feel more alive - I was strict on my diet and was careful not to consume wheat dairy and ate a high amount of raw organic food. As time passed our life together got busier as we chased careers and enjoyed living an inner-city lifestyle, eating out and spending weekends enjoying the local cafe and coffees. Exercise for me has been in bouts - mostly in the summer I am well and energy to expend exercising. I have trained with PTs and groups over the years - struggling to be consistent throughout as I ride the fatigue roller coaster.

Now, I have found myself waiting on more blood test results and another possible autoimmune diagnosis...

I have been enjoying a Cooked Vegan Diet since late 2011 when I found 30Bad! I have been reading 801010 and am currently enjoying a trip to Banana Island! I really believe that this diet will help me regain my life! I'm looking forward to seeing and feeling the transformation.
