We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: Hi, my name is Dean and I have been a general fan of the paleo thing for quite awhile now,about a year and a half, particularly Chris Kresser, but I finally read 80-10-10 after watching so many durian and freelee vids. I've switched over completely now. Its only been about ten days and I'm just now coming off of some prescription drugs, i.e. effexor, for anxiety ramipril, for blood pressure, and reducing diabetes meds quite quickly, type 2. Point is, Paleo didn't work for me and 80-10-10 so far, IS. My purpose for changing diet is the same as it always is, the pursuit of true natural wellness. I feel as though this could very well be the righteous path to a new way of thinking and living. Also I've just received Dr. Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes, so I will be reading that over the next few days. I live near Vancouver Canada so I know there must be other local HCLF vegans close by. General info, I am a painter in the film industry here in Vancouver, not the best job but it will have to do for now, don't know what else to add except I dream of moving somewhere where I can wake up and pick my breakfast off of a tree, I've actually had that dream for about fifteen to twenty years now. Maybe this lifestyle change will finally lead me to that dream. Peace

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....: Books: now, 80-10-10
then: paleo solution,mastering leptin,Dr,Rosedale Diet
Years ago, in my early twenties I had lots of success with the fit for life books.
Movies:everything good, I love a good documentary, sci-fi
Pastimes: I was a guitar player in a hard rock band that toured canada U.S. and England for about twelve years but that is over now.
I loved jogging when I used to have energy and less pain, hoping that comes back quickly but not worried about it.
