Do you think I can do this double? Epic double

Posted on November 13, 2010 at 10:30am 2 Comments

Hey everyone,

I just decided that I want to go back to school for nursing. I talked it over with my family and they thought it was a good idea. There's a high demand for male nurses, and I would like having a job where I'm on my feet, a mobile job, instead of a sedentary office job that I have now as an engineering technician for an electronic audio company.

I would like to stay in the US, even Puerto Rico, if need be, but staying in the US isn't a…

I'm completely confident I'm going 100% raw from now. Any supporters?

I'm done with cooked food. I feel terrible after eating it. Cooked food is high glycemic, it's highly imbalanced, it's toxic, it's poisonous. I've done with so much research now on it and realized the HORRIBLE effects that it has on my body, so I'm done with all cooked food.

I just want someone to witness that I'm going 100% raw and staying. So if anyone is here reading this, I just want you to have my word and witness that I'm going and STAYING now 100% raw. If you have the same…

Hi David, As with anywhere there are pros and cons, the pros to living here is the beach, warm weather, small town feel, tropical fruits in season, west indian culture, majority black/west indian government, part of the USA etc... the cons are cost of living and food prices very high and higher as you go further "down island" to St. John and the BVI, relatively high crime (nothing like the states), lots of traffic for a tiny place, and tickets to the states are more expensive. I have lived here four years, there is a pretty conscious community here, more people are waking up to health and environmental issues and making changes, I don't know any raw 100% fooders, but its a very vegan friendly place i.e. restaurants. there is one lady who is doing transition to raw and raw food vending at the farmers market, but we don't need a restaurant to eat fruit! Lots of coconuts :) Thanks for asking, I hope you find your new home soon :)

Thanks for the info, I also left you a comment on my blog. I once cured Strep throat w/out anti-biotics by doing shots of wheatgrass, ginger, cranberry,  and lemon 3 times a day for 3 days...what do you think about that?? That was the reason I was putting those in my diet...they worked for me once...why not again? Thoughts?

hey David- I learned about this place through this forum! It's Shield's Date Gardens, and the promotions page has great prices for 15 lbs of dates! http://www.shieldsdategarden.com/c-17-promotions.aspx I've only tried the barhi here and I've been liking it a lot (though they're a lot of work to deseed since they're tiny). Good luck with your dates!!

I ate 10 mangoes for breakfast, 10 mangoes for lunch, and 10 mangoes for dinner. I also drank a cup of fresh squeezed tangerine juice with each meal. I'm real sorry that mangoes are so expensive where your are. Right now my farmer's market is selling them for 5.50 a box (20 mangoes), so I loaded up on them. I still didn't get enough though because even though I bought 4 boxes (80) of mangoes just last Friday I'm almost out.
