"You should be doing a POUND of greens per day minimum.  Rotating your greens also.  You need to track your intake.  The amount of food you mentioned is not even close to what a normal person would need.  I do 2600 calories a day…"

I have been a raw for the past 13 years with only a few LFRV years. Now I am realizing (finally) that the only long term Raw Vegans left are the ones who eat high calorie, low fats. Usually I am pretty quick to get this kind of stuff. I think I was addicted to my identity of being a great raw vegan chef even though all my recipes were around 45-75 percent fat. After feeling amazing for the past 4 days I am a LFRV to stay! I am here for the community to keep me on the feel GREAT LFRV path!

Banana Island Day 2

Today is my second day on banana island and today I started feeling hungry and a bit angry. Yesterday I ate 29 bananas and today I ate 30. I just kept listening to my body and eating more bananas when I was hungry. When I started getting frustrated I think it was because I was hungry. I danced for 60 minutes today and am noticing I need more calories when I exert myself like that. 

After I ate the rest of my 30 bananas I felt better, I am sure I will get use to eating this much food.…

7 Days on Fresh LFRV811 Menu and Exercise

For those that may be interested in a  low fat vegan raw food 80/10/10 diet I thought I would add my menu log and exercise. Warning the first 2 days my calories were too low...

 

2-21-11: 80-10-10 raw food switch 1500 calories 90%carb/6%protein/4% fat

Morning Water: 1.5 liters

Exercise: 30 minutes working out with weights my arms/shoulders/abs

water: 1.5 liters

Mango/banana green smoothie: 1.5lbs mango and bananas with 4 oz collard greens, 1 cup…

I wonder why it took me sooo long to come back to a low fat raw food lifestyle? 

It has been coming for months now, the realization that the high fat gourmet diet I have been eating for the past 10 years, with a few 6 month periods of 811, was NOT working for me.
