"Don't worry about when it's "enough." Eat every meal until you are full and don't want anymore and as your stomach gets better at stretching you'll be able to eat more and more. Just make sure to aim for atleast 2500…"

I was a youngster who grew up struggling with my weight. I was constantly depressed and always so upset, not only because I was unhappy with my weight, but also because I felt outcasted and criticized by society's standards of what was viewed as "beautiful". By the time I got into high school, I was severely over weight and just overall unhealthy, which only added to my depression. But it was then that I finally decided to change that and completely turn my life around. It was a very slow process at first, however, slowly, but surely, I was making progress. I began to exercise regularly, but until two years later hadn’t come to terms with the fact that I wasn’t going to be able to see and feel the results I wanted unless I changed my eating habits, which was a pretty big hindrance for me. So, through a lot of research and after much contemplation, I had embarked on my very first ever water fast, which upon completing turned me over onto adopting a vegan lifestyle. Needless to say I was very satisfied with the results, but my exuberant state of mind quickly turned sour once I started putting the weight back on, and sadly, I soon fell into a nasty cycle of binging and fasting just to counter the weight gain. It was a habit I struggled with for quite some time until I realized how unhappy I was. I needed something constant, something stable in my life that would make me that happy and healthy person I had always wished to become, that inner me that was just dying to get out. So I delved a little deeper into the vegan lifestyle to see what could help me out, and became absolutely fascinated with the raw lifestyle. I watched video after video and read countless articles of recipes and stories of how it had so significantly changed the lives of so many people, and I wanted to be a part of it. Recently, while browsing the web, I came across Megan Elizabeth, a low fat raw vegan vlogress on Youtube who I now just adore. She often talks about how great it is to branch out in the community to find others with similar interests, not necessarily limiting yourself to only those who fallow the 80 10 10 diet, but everyone and anyone. So it was then that I thought, “That’s exactly what I need!” I knew that I could really use a support system, not to mention a little extra diversity in my life, and this site was one of the greatest and easiest places that I knew of that I’m sure could get me and help me stay on the right track to make becoming a low fat raw vegan myself that much more of a wonderful experience.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
I enjoy reading a lot fiction, mostly fantasy, because dragons and faries are kind of my thing but really i'll read just about everything and anything that I find intersting. As far as movies go, I love comedies, anything that will make me laugh, because who doesn't love laughing?
Sadly, I haven't many intersting hobbies, well, none even remotely intersting actually, but I have taken up roller blading and someday hope to be on a roller derby team(but maybe just a pipe dream).

Since I haven't yet read "The 80-10-10 Diet", it would really help me out to know what portions of food I should be eating, and the right food combinations to be sure that I'm getting the right amount of vitamins in my meals each day.
