When diet can save life...

Hi everyone.I've been reading this site for about 3 months and finally I decided to sign up. You all have already help me a lot while I was looking for information about this lifestyle: each time I had a question, I found the answer here or on youtube (through your videos). I finally got Dr Graham's book, read it and start whit my hcrv journey.I would like to tell you something about myself, maybe because I've read so much about some of you, that I want to share my story too (this is the only…See More

I've been a vegetarian for one year and then a vegan for four months. Fortunately I first heard about 811 when I was beginning my vegan journey, so I began whit an high-carb low-fat cooked vegan diet (really have to thank Freelee and DR for this) . Now I've finished Dr Graham's book, I guess I'm ready to become a hcrv.

Please tell us about your dietary inclinations:
I really want to be HCRV and just need some guidance
Reading "The 80-10-10 Diet" by Dr Doug Graham is vital for succeeding on this lifestyle. Please acquire this book as soon as possible.
I have read the book

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
I read whatever comes into my hands (well, almost), both novels and essays. Since I became a vegan, I'm preatty interested in animals rights, nutrition and sport (I didn't use to be an active person, now I'm trying to). I'm even interested in oriental practicies like yoga and meditation (not an expert, just learning more about it).
Now looking for changing job, 'cause my job is no more in line whit my ethics. Love to travel and know new places, cultures and languages, but at present time I haven't the money.
Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
Well, I think what I need most it's psychological support, 'cause my family and friends don't agree whit my choice. They're no totally against it (well, at least not everyone), but are a little worried. They don't understand my ethical choices (that's so sad, 'cause for me it is so natural) and don't think I can be healthier going raw. The only think they can accept is "I'm doing a weightloss diet", but, even if I really need to lose some extra weight, that's not the first reason I'm going hcrv.
30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because I like totally agree with all this
