I came here because I was way miserable. Now I'm feeling like a boss.

I enjoy philosophy texts, rollerblading, running, fiction.

Looking to start a fruit co-op at some point in the future, and also combining that co-op with some kind of free food service for the homeless, such as Food Not Bombs.
What is your gender? PLEASE NOTE: To enhance the community experience, profile pics of yourself are *REQUIRED* to gain membership. Membership will be declined otherwise.
huh?
Please tell us about your dietary inclinations:
I really want to be HCRV and just need some guidance
Reading "The 80-10-10 Diet" by Dr Doug Graham is vital for succeeding on this lifestyle. Please acquire this book as soon as possible.
I will read the book
Are you Connected?
yes i am
My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
Rollerblading, progressive calisthenics, noobie parkour, cycling.

I'm thoroughly involved with organising and running a Food not Bombs cell in York, North Yorkshire. If you haven't heard of Food not Bombs, it's an anarchist, vegan organisation that dispenses food to the public for no fee at all. It makes me feel happy.
Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
.
30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:

Craig Plunkett's Blog

A few of my most fundamental, (previously) unconscious views are undergoing some major overhaul.

Posted on April 14, 2013 at 9:30pm 1 Comment

Knowing who you really are might be taken for vapid abstractions by some, but it is in fact the very idea of common sense: You are not who you think you are; 'you' are a different 'you' for every person you will ever encounter because of the various different aspects of 'you' that people will be able to evoke. Given this simple paradigm, we must wonder how we answer the question of 'who I am truly?'. As already suggested, existence is only possible through relationships which seem contrary…

1 month eating heathfully - settling in, meeting new people at a Grape Harvest on a mountain.

Posted on September 22, 2012 at 8:25pm 0 Comments

I'm feeling like I am used to eating this way now, in a way that it finally feels that this is not some temporary game but something that has become just a part of what I do.

I'm feeling underslept these past few days but it can't be helped when you have noisy drunkards hollering down on the street. Attending numerous job interviews has also played its part in wearing me down but I'll recover soon enough.

My new place of employment is having a fun day out to start off the…

Alright, I'll do the blog thang. Day 6 of HCRV in Madrid

Posted on August 26, 2012 at 6:26pm 1 Comment

Before I moved to Madrid less than a week ago I was living in rural Ireland. Rural Ireland is just not the place to be if you want either cheap or high quality fruit.

Madrid on the other hand is better for fruit than I had dared imagine. I had my first papaya the other day - it was tasty but it probably could have been better I reckon.

5/6 days HCRV + scorching sun has made my sleep issues all go away. I was really struggling with the tossin' & turnin' of pre-HCRV life,…

awesome on the cnt! I would love to hear updates from you about that. The scene in the US is so different that Europe. Americans are not very class conscious so being in the IWW mostly I have to educate people a lot and have a hard time taking things from theory to action....

Hi Craig! I just saw your comment! I live in the "suburbs" of Madrid, have you been in Majadahonda? Well, that's my area :) I have started to be a raw vegan 3 months ago, I was almost vegan before though. I really don't know much raw vegan in Madrid or even in Spain, it's nice to now someone here! How long have you been HCRV?

At 1:29pm on December 17, 2012, AnarchoFembot said…

Certainly if I was in Spain I would go CNT despite my love for IWW too, but from the US the CNT looks like it has more power/influence and history there. As far as Wallmart goes, it is true that the union reps are sharks but also there is such limited class consciousness here as well as union bashing in the media, it is nice to see anything that challenges this in the media. It is hard cause so many are willing to "support" unions but few are willing to actually organize.

We could really use someone with you class consciousness in the IWW. Are you familiar?

Oh I just saw your comment.. yeah i'm quite strict really about it being organic if it's going to be a regular thing, idk if your brother manages to get organic fruit?..thanks for the tips though :) I'll probably run out of money at some point!

Hey! nice to meet you :) I don't really blame you for moving it's starting to get really cold again after a very tepid summer..It's getting harder to get out of bed in the morning for my jogs :P. You're lucky you could, may I ask what you do for a living in Spain? I don't know anyone in York, not even any vegans but I could try harder to put myself out there..I'm getting organic fruit and veg delivered every Thursday from a company in scotland now.. I wish I could get more variety from them though, can't get any figs, dragon fruit or anything like that pineapple is as good as it gets..I love figs, Papaya and Durian..all the more expensive ones that are difficult to get xD

Hey... I bet your right about that Craig... now that I do look back at the pineapple I ate only half of the fruit as a whole was a brownish yellow.

I guess I was a bit impatient... I really wanted to eat that pineapple man!!!

Thanks for the advice (^_^ )

Thank you for the blog comment. I've never heard of a "Narcissus trance" and that's an interesting perspective you ascribe to my situation. I will definitely start reading again as I was already thinking about it.
