We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: Hmm...well Freelea pulled me over from GI2MR, so here I am:)

My name is James...James or Crabby works (no worries I'm not so crabby). I'm kind of a clown (okay I'm a total clown) and I tend to bloviate and be a little loud sometimes. I'm a really caring person though, and I'd never want to hurt anyone's feelings, and I'm never above apologizing if I do. I develop deep bonds with others, and I wear my heart on my sleeve, even at the risk of feeling exposed. I totally thrive on helping others and I crave the human connection. As a typical cancer male, predisposed to duality, I also need and savor my solitude. OKAY, enough of the sappy stuff:)

I wouldn't say I'm "new" to raw foods. I've always loved eating raw, but I haven't done it exclusively, and now that's what I want to do.

But first things first...right now I'm in the healing stage.

I've had colitis and Crohn's for 12 years because of my SAD diet, drinking, drugs and general disregard for my health. The only thing I'm really guilty of now is eating too much dead food (well that and making excuses for myself), but hey, I've inspired lots of people to eat raw and I've done it by example, so I'm happy about that.

I've been clean and sober for 4 years now. I understand that I've brought all of this upon myself, but now I want to be the inspiration to myself and others.

So now I'm gonna bitch for a moment...feel free to scroll down or click away lol...

I'm so fed up with the doctors and the lies, the excuses, the healthcare system, the FDA, the pharma-cartels and the misleading over-the-top, in-your-f***ing-face, we-don't-give-a-s***-about-you drug ads that try to convince us that we actually NEED their new drug, which always seems to cause 10 side effects including death, and only exists because the NEED for the drug was created by a side effect of a previous drug. It's nothing more than a legalized, genocidal drug cartel for profit. The entire system is corrupt and it's really a perfect circle...for them, but NOT for us.

I got tired of buying the BS like a sheep and ingesting their drugs while getting worse and making them richer. I've been off the meds for 4 years too, but I'm still struggling with some colitis and all of the other issues that go along with it, and that's why right now I'm only eating bananas to heal my body.

I've finally come to the conclusion that blaming the establishment is a COP-OUT. We still have a choice. Nobody is holding a gun to our heads...maybe they're deliberately trying to mislead us, but that's not an excuse for lack of individual responbility...not for me...not anymore.

Please tell us about your dietary inclinations:: bananas and melons and occasional greens blended into banana smoothies for right now. No supplements and only water to drink. This is healing my perfectly right now, and I won't need to transition (I think) for a couple of weeks.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....: I read everything on the bestseller's list and anything recommended to me. I always give books away when I'm done with them.

I loved "The Secret"...you should check it out.
Anthony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Marshal Sylver, Napoleon Hill, Stephen Covey (love this guy).

This list could go on forever as I read voraciously.
