May 9th will be 2 months 811! I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone here for all thier support and help, I couldn't have done it without you!

I am doing great! I have released 12lbs so far. I look and feel better. People are starting to comment on how healthy I look. I have not fallen off the "shakey wagon" at all in the last 3 weeks or so. I am getting around 2000- 2800 calories a day and that is working for me right now. My Rant for the day!

I am not finding this easy. I tend to eat around 1800 -- 2000 calories a day. I am trying to get more! I have started doing a curcuit weight training workout, full body, every other day. Yesterday I didn't eat enough and had some cooked veggies at the end of the day. I don't feel too bad eating the cooked veggies, at least it wasnt' pizza!

Ok, so last night I was at my grandsons 1st birthday party. I ate before I went, but it was a hectic day and I didn't eat enough and I was starving. I was eating all the veggies in the veggie tray, but I was still hungry! Inspite of what some people have said on you thread, detox happens. There are many cases described in the raw food literature. When Joe Alexander adopted a raw diet he felt sick and tired for 8 months and lost 40 lbs (he was thin to begin with). But after 8 months on the diet he had a "healing crisis" which last a full month during which he coffed up green globs of mucus from his lungs. After the experience was over he felt like he had been reborn and promptly regained the 40 lbs he had lost. He wrote his book "Blatant Raw Foodist Propaganda" after he had been successfully following a raw food diet for 20 years. He was only 22 years old when he became a raw foodist and had never been sick a day in his life. There are many stories like this out there.
