I've been more or less raw since Spring 2009 with great benefits. But having suffered some gut problems recently, I thought it would be best to try a fruit emphasis diet and so far so good. I'm hoping to glean from all the folks here inspiration and experience.

The "Ecstasy" of Raw Veganism

Posted on March 21, 2013 at 10:30am 4 Comments

So a friend posted something about parents being watchful of their kids getting involved with "Molly" (MDMA, ecstasy) and I seemed to remember something about taking a lot of it causing depression so I looked it up and found these effects:

Short-term experiential effects, which tend to last less than 4 hours, include:

I'm becoming a Fruit "Pusher" and I think I like it

Posted on February 9, 2013 at 2:40am 12 Comments

In our family, I am the fruity. My wife and daughter eat vegetarian, although there is this recent mental move away from dairy (yes! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!). You are absolutely right about learning as you go. I am doing a great deal of research on what I can and cant find locally. I do not want to start until I am armed with all the info I need or I will cave when I run into a wall that I don't know how to conquer. Any suggestions on finding other locals in my area that are on the same path as I am? It would be great to have that.

Thank you sooo much for the comment and all the info! I am going to implement them in every way I can. I have been working on my food connections locally and I hope to have everything in place before I begin completely. but I have added a lot more raw foods to my diet for now. one day soon I will go 100% raw! I cant wait!
