I've been more or less raw since Spring 2009 with great benefits. But having suffered some gut problems recently, I thought it would be best to try a fruit emphasis diet and so far so good. I'm hoping to glean from all the folks here inspiration and experience.

We've recently ticked over at 20,000 members here at 30Bad. I will come back to that shortly.

I haven't been on here much due to work, but I just wanted to pop in to comment on the recent "Pioneer-Gate" thing swirling around the Woodstock Fruit Festival.

WFF has always been very prominently featured here. ANd... People have always complained of what they claimed was the "dogmatic, constrictive, nature of 30Bad version of 801010" here.

Contrary to some people's…

The "Ecstasy" of Raw Veganism

Posted on March 21, 2013 at 10:30am 3 Comments

So a friend posted something about parents being watchful of their kids getting involved with "Molly" (MDMA, ecstasy) and I seemed to remember something about taking a lot of it causing depression so I looked it up and found these effects:

Short-term experiential effects, which tend to last less than 4 hours, include:

  • Mental and physical euphoria

I'm becoming a Fruit "Pusher" and I think I like it

Posted on February 9, 2013 at 2:40am 10 Comments

In our family, I am the fruity. My wife and daughter eat vegetarian, although there is this recent mental move away from dairy (yes! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!). They eat lots of vegan too, but eggs and dairy are always there, at least a little. Cheese will be a tough one to get them off of.

So every morning, my daughter typically has eggs and toast, Oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, waffles, etc. LOTS of grain type stuff which is probably really not good for her, for many reasons but…

Thanks Chris. For the first time in many many years I look forward to waking up to a new day. As I learn more of the great things that I can eat on my new raw vegan lifestyle, I have just one question. Is it okay to dehydrate bananas and other fruit? I have a dehydrator and made some great banana chips and banana jerky. I just wanted to make sure that by drying them that they are still good for you. Great snacks, hope so. Thanks again.
