One thing I've noticed is that a lot of people seem to be apprehensive about going raw in the winter or have difficulty maintaining a 100% raw diet when it's cold out. I live in Madison, South…Continue

Many people's goal when going raw is to attain their ideal weight. Unfortunately there is way too much misinformation out there! It really saddens me seeing people duped into restricting their calories and buying expensive supplements and superfoods.
Fortunately, you all can learn from my mistakes and get started on the right track! Focus on health and fitness and your ideal weight is a result of that. :)
Here's a primer on how to get started the…

The Woodstock Fruit Festival came to an end this past Thursday. It was sort of sad to have to say goodbye to everyone and return to our everyday lives. But that's not what this blog post is about, nope. It's about the massive durian hangover after the week of partying. Okay, well not technically caused by the durian, more the late nights and lack of sleep. You never really notice how much travelling and lack of sleep takes out of you until after you've gotten back into normal life. I was…

Does anybody else feel like The Crying Indian from that commercial from the 70's whenever they go outside and see the mess that careless people make of this beautiful planet? It literally makes me sad. I was out for a bike ride today (just a quick spin around town to get my lymph flowin', I was feeling stagnant sitting around the house studying) and I had my backpack on to help with doing some errands. Whenever I have…

Zombie_Pinup_Girl said… Yes it's an AMAZING resource! Learning all sorts of things from great, kind people who actually take time to talk to newbs like me who have questions (the same ones they've probably answered a million times before!) Everyone is so patient and helpful, really gives Vegans a GREAT reputation and makes me love it more! Also great for meeting people having the same issues with starting a raw lifestyle :) Plus nobody calls me gorilla girl when I talk about eating ten bananas LOL!

Cloudfox said… Dear Chris, I just watched your new video about being raw 811 in winter. Thank you very much for sharing! I also liked your video about the "end-of-the-world"-craziness. You are my inspiration. Lots of raw fruity energy and blessings! <3 Keep on rawking, man!
AnnaBanana said… Hey again Chris! sorry, I'm answering like a week late, I've been really swamped with school and work. Unfortunately I've finals running from the 15th to the 19th of December, but afterwards I'm sure I'll have some time and we could meet up! Travel safe!
AnnaBanana said… Hey Chris!!! Thats so cool that you're gonna be driving through Colorado! Thats so exciting!!! When are you planning to make the trip? Boulder is where I go to school and there are tons of things you can do! If you want to get a beautiful view of the mountains(flat irons) and hike, definitely check out the Chautauqua Park, its like the prime attraction in Boulder. Also you could go hot air ballooning!!! The place is called Fair Winds Hot Air Balloon Flights, I haven't been there, but I've only heard great reviews about it. Also I think Pearl St. in Boulder is great, if you're a hippie (kinda pricy though), very beautiful and authentic st. and nice to stroll through. I don't know how long your trip is, but theres tons of museums, paths, trails, (Eldorado trail and Mesa trail) and of course great people :) Another place you could visit is called Red Rocks, its also a park, its not in Boulder, but its well worth visiting cuz its breathtaking and you'll get a really good exercise if you choose to run up a gadzillion stairs that they have there haha I'm so excited just knowing that a famous vegan will be in Colorado haha :) Be mindful of the altitude and perhaps consider drinking more water while you're in CO cuz climates really dry here right now. I hope you enjoy your visit!!! : )
see you in January
let me know when you are in bangkok!
