So, after being raw for a month I broke. I'm not beating myself up but I did have to re-evaluate why I was doing this in the first place. I want ultimate health. I want to feel my feet again and I want my hair to grow like it use to. All of these "little" things remind me of how in health I use to be. This is my vow to stay on this diet. Not only am I practicing HCRW I'm also becoming a fruitarian. I've been listening to this nature path Dr. Robert Morse ND.
Through listening…

Hello everyone,
Now I'm not one to ask for much but this is the first year I spent Christmas alone. I live in Los Angeles, and I didn't get anything for christmas because I needed whatever money I had to pay rent. Anyways, I want to ask if anyone who feels in the christmas spirit to possibly buy or send me an extra copy of Doug Graham's book 80-10-10. I'm on week 4 of my HCRV diet and I'd like to read this book that I keep hearing about I would get it but I literally don't…

So I've been on a high fruit diet and it's been an amazing experience thus far. I'm diabetic and at first I was scared to do such a thing. But I learned the proper way to do it. In my experience when I eat mostly all fruits my blood sugars have been within range. I learned that fructose is the only sugar that doesn't need insulin to break into the cell wall.
With this in mind I try to eat only fruits I notice that when i add any vegetable it not only raises my blood sugar but it stays…

So I've been doing this raw/vegan thing for about a week or so and my main staple has been fruit and tons of it. As some of you know I'm a type 1 diabetic and I'm on a pump. I have insulin pumping in me hourly at a slow rate. I was kinda scared doing this because I know that fruit is loaded with sugar, but it's a good sugar. I've heard many people do this and there blood sugars go out of control. Well I learned that people that have done that have also been eating a lot of fats as well. I've…

Gena Secrets said… Hey Chocolate!! I saw your blog post about getting a copy of the 80-10-10 book, and I know it was a few years back and you might have a copy by now. If you don't then check this out. I kinda thought that $30 was a little bit too much to pay for a guide outlining how to eat fruit and vegetables. So I just sent Dr. Graham an email and said as much. Believe it or not, he sent me a copy for free!! I couldn't believe it. Also, you can buy them used on Amazon. Just a suggestion in the event you don't have a copy yet.
