But anyway, I am really enjoying it, but I noticed that when I look back over what I've eaten in any given week, there isn't much variety. Which is okay with me personally, but I don't know how good that is for nutrition? Or digestion maybe?I eat almost exclusively:BananasFrozen Berries (for smoothies)ORANGES (my…See More

My question is about greens.I really haven't been eating any these past few weeks I've been lfrv. The occasional small salad or celery stick here and there. But that's it.My question is, I think at least for now in the beginning, the smoothie is the only real way I can get in enough greens. So would eating celery sticks, and adding baby spinach into my smoothies satisfy my greens requirement? Or is that not even close to enough. I keep reading a pound of lettuce a day. Wow! haha. I'm Celeste and I was brought to 30BaD because after learning about the LFRV life from my sister, I did some googling and found Loving-it-Raw, RawFitBitch, and then, of course, 30BaD. I am very very new to this, although for the past two years I've been on and off vegan. Never fully committing because I hated the idea of complicated recipes and using ingredients that I had never heard of to pull together these vegan meals. (Though they all looked AMAZING, I just cannot cook AT ALL, and anything that verges on "complicated" sends me running the other way.) But two years ago when I first learned of the devastating truth behind factory farming and the dair industry I just never felt at ease or comfortable with the SAD. But lack of knowledge and skill always led me back there after a month or so of eating foods that were unhealthy and processed, but technically "vegan". So these two years I've been struggling to align my ethics and my eating in a way that leaves me still feeling satisfied and energetic. My sister was looking for this as well and stumbled upon the LFRV community! I was IMMEDIATELY intrigued because it did not seem complicated. Fruits and vegetables are easily available, and already prepared! So I've been eating this was for a week and a half, but I just don't know enough to get the full benefits. I know this site can help me stick with this and learn what I need to really grow and thrive living LFRV. :)

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
Oh I LOVE movies. Movies are my passion. My favorite movie of all time is Titanic. But the Lord of The Rings Trilogy, Amadeus, and anything by Tim Burton are all tied for second. Pride and Prejudice (2005) is gorgeous as well. Also movie scores are something I love, so instead of favorite authors I have favorite composers. (I know I need to read more and watch less movies but I can't help it! lol) But I love John Williams, Hanz Zimmer, Alexandre Desplat, Patrick Doyle, Howard Shore, And James Horner is a GENIUS for the Titanic score. Right now my past times are mostly blogging, and unfortunately going out on the weekends, as in drinking alcohol. I am really really wanting to get away from this but the pull of the social scene is strong. :(

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
I need reassurance mainly. Having struggled with eating and being vegan and even disorded eating, I need to be reassured that Yes, I really CAN eat whatever fruit I want and a lot of it! Because I get very boggled down thinking that I need to make sure I have enough of a variety and then I get worried that I am eating too much of a certain fruit (Oranges) and that I am doing this all wrong.
30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because I like totally agree with all this

I have indeed.  It's different of course than the full scale Hollywood production staring Kiera, but I think you'll love it on it's own merits.

The filmmakers clearly put a lot of love and care in the around 4 hr miniseries.  Allows even more time for character development.

Aloha to 30B, Celeste!

Check out our Welcome Wagon for an overview of some of the best that our site has to offer.

BTW, P and P was my fave film of 2005 too.  Have you ever seen the full scale BBC version with Colin Firth?
