I'm currently 30 years old, and am looking into living the LFRV lifestyle. I originally lost over 100 lbs with a high animal protein diet, and extreme bodybuilding methods. Lack of fruits, and reduced amounts of vegetables has led me to feel that I'm not living up to par. I hated feeling sluggish, and dependent on supplements to provide energy to make it through the day. It got to the point where I missed being a vegan. I've struggled with being a vegan/vegetarian several times throughout my life. I did the vegan method via anorexia, and attempted wrongful/unhealthy ways to be a vegan. I've successfully maintained a semi-healthy vegan lifestyle for a max of 1 year, but it was not the proper way, so to speak. I've learned that eating an extremely high fat, high carb vegan way is not the right way to go. It got to the point where I actually dream of eating abundant fruits and vegetables, and I drool over them. I just am really unsure of the "right" way to go about doing so. I've reached the point in my life where I feel like I really need to take a step and really invest in changing my life. I am still reading the 811 book, and am very interested in this method of lifestyle. I was brought to this community by doing some research on raw vegan lifestyles, and this community has really caught my attention. I'd really enjoy it if I was a member, able to communicate with others with questions and experiences to ensure a great transition to living the LFRV lifestyle.
